Reviews By Ms. Teatime

Read the food reviews by Ms. Teatime. She loves all sorts of sweet stuff like cakes and desserts. Like most female species, she contradicts herself; she likes sweets but dislikes them to be cloying. Her food preferences are similar to Mr. Good’s.

Tian Wei Signature (Delivery Only)
Considering whether to order confinement meals? Find out what I think about Tian Wei Signature's confinement meals here! (Includes Promo Code for my readers.)
The Dark Gallery Cafe @Takashimaya
I am still undecided about whether I would recommend The Dark Gallery Flagship Cafe to Chocolate Lovers and Dessert Fans. Based on what I have tried, the offerings are pretty decent for a cafe but not impressive enough for a chocolate specialty place. Then again, to be fair, I have yet to try their famed products like the Dark Chocolate Gelato and Signature Dark Chocolate Cake. Shall update after I have tried!
Non Entree Desserts @Rangoon Road
Non-Entree Desserts is a must-visit if you are looking for unconventional desserts! Expect to find Singapore-style breakfast fare like Bak Chor Mee (Minced Meat Noodles), You Tiao (Fried Fritters), Eggs & Toasts and Chwee Kueh, all in dessert form!
Nipong Naepong @JEM
A Jjamppong (Korean-Chinese spicy noodle) specialty restaurant that also serves highly raved about sweet potato pizza.
etto @Handy Road (Formerly Blackbird Bistro & Bar)
Located conveniently beside The Cathay but away from the busy malls, etto is a quiet bistro bar that serves European cuisines, daily DIY lunch bowls & one of the most affordable Afternoon Tea Sets in Town. etto also provides free WiFi (do ask for the password) and magazines, making it an ideal place to pass time while waiting for the movie to start or to rest your feet while waiting for the wife to finish shopping.
L’éclair by Sarah Michelle @Singapore Shopping Centre
Escape the hustle and bustle at L’éclair by Sarah Michelle, a short walk away from the popular Orchard Road shopping belt. Relax in this classy and quiet space while enjoying a delicious handcrafted eclair. All prices are nett and charging points are abundantly available! (Umm.. but no WiFi okay.)
