Ms Teatime Says:
Nowadays I get super excited when I find a cafe that sells dairy free latte! I have been avoiding dairy as it is a trigger for my boy's eczema. But I love my latte! So I was pretty stoked to chance upon Kith Cafe while shopping at Isetan Scotts!
I am no stranger to Kith Cafe, having been a regular at their Millenia Walk branch because of the Free WiFi they provide. However, I have never paid attention to their soy milk option until I walked past their Isetan Scotts outlet recently (they take up an open space near the escalator at level 2 of Isetan Scotts). And boy, they do whip up a mean cup of iced soy latte that is strong, bold and only mildly acidic.
However, their iced black coffee and was too strong and overly acidic for Mr Good. I took one sip and hated the sourish aftertaste. We heard that Kith Cafe uses 4 shots of espresso for all their iced coffees, which means no weak coffee right to the last sip even after all the ice melts! If you are looking to wake yourself up, hooray! But if you dislike sourish coffees, get a latte so that the milk can sweeten and tone down the sourness.
Still, Mr Good was pleased with the coffee experience at Kith Cafe since it offered a place for him to rest and wait with my shopping bags while I continue to shop at Isetan Scotts.
