The Halia @Singapore Botanic Gardens
For a short escape, visit The Halia at the Singapore Botanic Gardens for a slow and relaxing meal. Opt for their outdoor seating for the best holiday feel. Surrounded by an abundance of greenery, the hut-like dining room exudes rustic Bali vibes, which is charming under the sun rays and idyllic on a rainy afternoon. Halia is halal certified and features ginger as an ingredient in many of their food and drinks. Kids Menu (without ginger) is available!
Kushiya Japanese Grilled House @Westgate
Cheap and Good Rice Bowl with Charcoal Grilled Meat/Fish in Jurong East! Price starts at S$1.90 Nett for grilled skewers and S$7.90 Nett for rice bowls. Here, you get better than ToriQ quality at ToriQ prices. The only downside is the 10 to 15 minutes waiting time.
Hajime @myVillage
If you love Tonkatsu, give Hajime a try. With the chef's dedication to serve only Niigata rice, Japanese air flown pork and house special Tonjiru soup, expect your taste buds to be satisfied. If Tonkatsu is not your thing, Hajime also serves ramen, Japanese dons and curries.
Eagle’s View and Seletar Pub @Seletar Country Club
Located in the north of Singapore, Seletar Country Club is a fabulous Family Club that has something for the whole family, including a Golf Course, Bowling Centre, an integrated sports and recreational complex and a variety of dining options that are opened to members and public! But members still have it best, because you have exclusive access to 2 members-only lounges, Seletar Pub and Eagle's View, which serves light bites and a wide range of beverages! Do note the minimum age requirement of 18 years old.

Jo Japanese Restaurant @Seletar Country Club
Jo is a cozy Japanese restaurant that offers authentic Omakase experience via fresh Japanese ingredients that are air-flown twice a week from Japan. Unlike other Omakase-only restaurants, Jo also serves an extensive ala carte menu and a very affordably priced set lunch with a whopping 10 choices! For the best dining experience, make a reservation for one of the 13 highly coveted counter seats so you can watch the chef prepare your food right in front of you!
Famous Palace @Seletar Country Club
Western Wine and Dine options are aplenty in Singapore but here's a Chinese one! Pamper your distinguished guests or loved ones in a classy ambience with a beautiful golf course view as they sample delectable Chinese dishes and sip their preferred wine or whiskey from different countries. Last I checked, guests can also enjoy Free Parking and Free WiFi here!
