The Dark Gallery Cafe @Takashimaya
I am still undecided about whether I would recommend The Dark Gallery Flagship Cafe to Chocolate Lovers and Dessert Fans. Based on what I have tried, the offerings are pretty decent for a cafe but not impressive enough for a chocolate specialty place. Then again, to be fair, I have yet to try their famed products like the Dark Chocolate Gelato and Signature Dark Chocolate Cake. Shall update after I have tried!
Siamese Cat Cafe @Velocity @Novena Square
Judging from the decoration, one may easily mistake Siamese Cat for another typical Thai Cafe that serves only drinks and desserts. Fact is Siamese Cat also serves popular Thai mains like Phad Thai, Tom Yum Noodles and Thai Green Curry. Although I have yet to try them, looking at the way they fire up that seemingly well-used wok, I am inclined to think that food should taste more than decent.
Mitzo @Grand Park Orchard
The Must-Try dish at classy Mitzo is their Truffle Duck! But they also serve an exquisite 3-Course Weekday Dim Sum Set Lunch coupled with smiley service at S$28++. At this price, Mitzo may not be an everyday lunch venue but it could be one that provides a value-for-money option when you want to pamper yourself or impress your guests without breaking the piggy bank too much!
Non Foodie Days: My Super Glam Maternity Shoot at Fab Studio!
Read about my Maternity Shoot at Fab Studio Photography! (Includes Promo Code- 10% Off for my readers.)
Non Entree Desserts @Rangoon Road
Non-Entree Desserts is a must-visit if you are looking for unconventional desserts! Expect to find Singapore-style breakfast fare like Bak Chor Mee (Minced Meat Noodles), You Tiao (Fried Fritters), Eggs & Toasts and Chwee Kueh, all in dessert form!
Twenty15 RGB @Big Box
Twenty15 is a restaurant-grill-bar that serves affordable European cuisine and alcohol in Jurong East. Food quality and service are consistently good. In the day, enjoy a value-for-money weekday set lunch in a quiet environment and at night, indulge in delicious platters, tapas and other European dishes with 1-for-1 German draught beers along a round of darts. Soccer fans can also visit Twenty15 to catch LIVE Premier League football matches.
