Note that Watanabe Coffee may even impose a dining time limit to ease their queues during their peak hours. If you really have to, Brunetti (Tanglin Mall) or Nassim Hill Bakery (Tanglin Post Office) might be better choices, though unfortunately they are currently not near any MRT Stations.
The Dark Gallery Cafe @Takashimaya
I am still undecided about whether I would recommend The Dark Gallery Flagship Cafe to Chocolate Lovers and Dessert Fans. Based on what I have tried, the offerings are pretty decent for a cafe but not impressive enough for a chocolate specialty place. Then again, to be fair, I have yet to try their famed products like the Dark Chocolate Gelato and Signature Dark Chocolate Cake. Shall update after I have tried!

I would highly recommend their specialty handcrafted coffees. Choices are aplenty and you will do well regardless if you ordered a hot or iced one. You can even make your own bespoke coffee blend here. A small selection of All-Day-Breakfast, mains and sides are also available. However, food takes a backseat when compared to their coffees.

Accessible yet exclusive, it is hidden from view on the second level of Mandarin Gallery but can easily be reached by riding up Mandarin Gallery's hard-to-miss outdoor escalator along Orchard Road. The restaurant also features an outdoor space for people watching, a communal table for large groups, small tables for intimate chats and a wine room for alcohol lovers, pleasing almost everyone.

Surrounded by an abundance of greenery, the hut-like dining room exudes rustic Bali vibes, which is charming under the sun rays and idyllic on a rainy afternoon.
