Shop/Food Review

Mr Good Says:

I fell in love with this place on my first visit because the pretty cafe serves unpretentious and tasty food using wholesome ingredients along with warm genuine service. Although these reasons are sufficient to hook me, Thrive Kitchen also provides free WiFi and iced water, making itself even more irresistible!

Looking through the menu, it is apparent that Thrive Kitchen stays true to its promise to deliver healthy food by its choice of carbohydrates (whole grains, coconut/almond flour), sweeteners (coconut sugar, dates and honey) and vegetables (pesticide free). Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten-free options are also readily available. In addition, all the sauces, jams and even granola used are made in house so that the quality and wholesomeness can be maintained. For items that cannot be made in-house (breads, ice-cream, pasta) due to limited kitchen capability, Thrive Kitchen promises to source only from like-minded businesses.

Taste wise, I find most of the dishes perfectly seasoned. However, do note that I have a lighter palate so if you prefer strong flavours, Thrive Kitchen's food could possibly be too bland for you.

Gluten Free Coconut Cake

What impressed me most here though are the bakes. Made using quality flour, healthy fats and unrefined sugars, Thrive Kitchen's bakes remain tasty without the addition of nasties or excessive sugar. Personally, I cannot resist their aromatic and moist coconut cake. For people who like something lighter, the tangy lemon tart will also be a good choice.
