May's Kafe @Beauty World Centre is located just beside the escalator in the basement level of Beauty World Centre. It is a self service local coffee house with free seating. Here, you have to order and collect your own food. In return, you are rewarded with affordable prices.
For a local kopi place, their menu is quite extensive. Other than local breakfast items like toasts, chee cheong fan, fried bee hoon, fishball noodles, prata and nasi lemak, they also serve less commonly found dishes like laksa chee cheong fan, abalone fishball noodles and bulgogi chicken rice bowl. There is even ang moh kopi (latte), though I wasn't too impressed after tasting it. (Update: They have removed espresso based coffees from their menu.)
