This time I visited, they just launched a brand new brunch menu, which is served till 3pm daily. Brunch consists of 12 breakfast items and over 20 western meals. Based on the menu descriptions and what I ordered, their brunch borders on the healthier side without compromising on taste. None of the 3 items I ordered are greasy and all 3 featured much greens. It is also commendable that they only use MSG-free and filler-free meats from Huber Butchery! And I was super impressed that Coastes actually bothered to prepare their own real fruit jams and maple butter! Those are not too sweet and so delicious I will buy some home if they do sell!

If you do drop by for brunch, I highly recommend their French Toast! Fluffy and eggy, the toasts are served with this super delectable THICK CUT bacon (from Huber Butchery) and house made maple butter that is unforgettable!

What is your perception of seaside dining? Ouch! Are you starting to feel a piercing heart pain just thinking about how much you are going to spend? Don't be.

Because along Siloso Beach in Sentosa, we have Coastes, a charming beach bar that offers beautiful sunsets (subjected to the mood of the heavens), hearty food and drinks (the menu is extensive) at reasonable prices! While the food here are not out of this world (no Gordan Ramsay renditions here), they are pretty good.

For meat lovers, I will recommend their bourbon glazed pork ribs, which is tender and well marinated without being too sweet. If you like tomato, the tomato based seafood risotto, which is generously packed with fresh seafood like tiger prawns, crab meat and cod fish will make a good choice. For seafood lovers, the seafood platter, which features pan-fried cray fish, crab salad, fish stew with bread, poached tiger prawns with pineapple salsa, meaty chilli clams and calamari rings, is a must order! Those on a tighter budget can also go for the brunch items (available until 3pm daily) and sandwiches. That said, there are some items I wouldn't recommend you to order- the desserts. They are not terrible, just sadly average and a little on the sweet side.
