Mr Good Says:
Featuring a raw industrial appearance and surrounded by lots of greenery, Camp Kilo Charcoal Club is the perfect place to enjoy a laid back evening with good food and an iced cold beer. Opened only on weekends, Camp Kilo is a roast joint dealing with barbecued meats and seafood cooked on charcoal but its main specialty is the 30kg whole roasted pig. Yes, you read right- we can get Whole Charcoal Roasted Pig right here in Singapore!

However, unlike in Bali, only one is roasted each day on Fridays and Saturdays! So come early (before 5pm) to avoid the crowds and to catch a glimpse of Mr Piggy in his full glory (before he's all carved up for our tummies)!
Sliced up and served in the portion that I requested, the yummy roasted pork fulfills all my expectations. Like the roasted pork belly we are used to getting from the good roast joints, this one has a perfect crispy crackling skin atop tender, juicy and well marinated meat. But what makes it even better is that we can also opt for roast pork instead of roast pork belly to get the same yummy crackling without the fats. For all carnivores out there, health conscious or not, this is a must try!

And don't worry about the weather; both awnings and covered indoor seats are available.
