A year on, they have added some food items (mainly sandwiches and salads) into their menu. Prices are on the high side but every ingredient used is carefully sourced and all the sauces made in house. This is a place to visit for simply made quality food.

Shop/Food Review

Nesuto (meaning "Nest" in Japanese) began as a comfortable "nest" for diners to feel at home while enjoying freshly baked cakes and tea (unfortunately they are still sourcing for suitable beans so there's no coffee available at the moment).

A year on, they have added some food items (mainly sandwiches and salads) into their menu. Prices are on the high side but every ingredient used is carefully sourced and all the sauces made in house. This is a place to visit for simply made quality food.

Food
Salmon & Avocado on Sourdough (S$22+)
Home cured salmon with avocado & cream cheese on sourdough bread. I love the salmon!
Pulled Pork Sandwich (Brioche) with Grilled Cheese (S$22+)
I don't usually like pulled pork but enjoyed this one. The secret is in the homemade yakiniku sauce!
Mushrooms & Spinach (S$14+)
This tastes like a chicken rice salad! I am neutral to this but it has many fans!
Tomato Ceviche
Roma tomato in wafu dressing. Refreshing but I prefer sweeter tomatoes.

Cakes
Le Omm (S$9+)
Suitable for non-serious matcha fans.
Le Omm (S$9+)
I like that the azuki beans are not overly sweet. Matcha used is pleasantly bitter and only slightly earthy.
Yuzu Raspberry (S$9+)
The tangy frozen raspberries are the highlight here. White chocolate is slightly too sweet.

Entremet
Suzette (S$9+)
It tastes as sweet as it looks, hence not for me.
Suzette (S$9+)
Noisette Rocher (S$9+)
Noisette Rocher (S$9+)
Love the flavour and combination of textures but not the saccharine sweetness.

Plated Desserts
Duo Creme Brulee (S$14+)
Not too sweet and big enough for two to share.
Duo Creme Brulee (S$14+)
I was skeptical about having chocolate in a creme brulee, but it works!

Bakes
Madeleine
This is the MOST delicious Madeleine I have tasted! The reason why this is so good is because Nesuto only makes it upon order so reserve before going down!
Cookies (S$2+)

Teas by AnteSocial
Lychee Oolong Tea (S$9+/pot)
Oriental Red Tea (S$9+/pot)
